How To Cancel Lexington Law Online
It’s possible to cancel your Lexington Law membership online or through other means. Here’s how you can do so:
- Login to your Lexington Law account. Head to Lexington Law’s website and log into your account. If you forgot your login information, you may request to reset your password using the email address that you used to register the account. You may also need to complete a captcha verification before you’re able to log into your account.
- Click on “Contact Us.” You can head to the “contact us” page by scrolling to the bottom of the webpage if you’re on a computer, or the “+” symbol to reveal a dropdown menu on a mobile browser. You can also find the appropriate link on the Lexington Law app. From there, you can fill out a form to request to cancel your membership.
- Chat with an agent. Instead of filling out a contact form, you can choose to connect with an online agent chat after navigating to the “Contact Us” page. Or, you can click on the chat icon button at the bottom right of your screen (if on desktop) to immediately open a chat. Live agents are available from Monday to Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. MST.
- Ask to cancel your membership. Whether you cancel your membership via the contact form or live chat, you need to include specific information. This typically includes your name, contact details and your exact request. Be sure to state that you want to cancel your membership immediately (or whenever you want to end the membership).
- Ask for confirmation in writing. To ensure your request went through, ask for written documentation such as an email confirmation or one sent by mail.
Aside from live chat or submitting a request through the contact form, you can also call a client service agent at (800) 341-8441 during business hours or by emailing clientservices@lexingtonlaw.com. Make sure you are explicit in your request with either of these contact methods.
If you cancel your membership within 5 days of enrollment, you’ll receive all of your money back. Otherwise, you’ll be charged the full monthly fee, plus any fees Lexington Law charges for other services it completes before cancellation. The company may choose to prorate charges if you cancel their services. When making your request to cancel the membership, ask about what fees may be charged.
